Rear Door Interior Handle: Service and Repair
Rear Cargo Door

INSIDE HANDLE ACTUATOR

REMOVAL

1. Open the rear cargo door.
2. Remove the trim panel from the door inner panel.
3. Remove the inside handle rod from the latch.

4. Remove the screws and remove the inside handle actuator from the door panel (Fig. 8).

INSTALLATION

1. Insert the handle actuator in the door panel opening with the rod inside the door.
2. Connect the inside handle rod to the latch lever.
3. Attach the actuator to the door panel. Tighten the screws.
4. If necessary, adjust the rod to eliminate excess handle travel.
5. Install the door trim panel.
