REMOVAL

1. Remove the striker screws from the body side panel (Fig. 4).
2. Remove the striker from the side panel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the spacer and the striker at the body side panel. Make sure that the adjustment shims (if used) are installed.
2. Install the striker screws in the side panel. Tighten the screws to 23 N.m (200 in. lbs.) torque.
3. Adjust the striker if necessary.
