Vacuum Pump: Service and Repair
The content of this article reflects changes called for in TSB 26-12-98.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative cables.
2. Position drain pan under power steering pump.
3. Disconnect vacuum and steering pump hoses.
4. Disconnect and remove the oil sender from the block.
Vacuum Pump Oil Feed Line
5. Disconnect lubricating oil feed line from fitting at underside of vacuum pump.
