Water In Fuel Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION - Water-In-Fuel (WIF) Sensor
NOTE: The engine has a self-priming low-pressure fuel system. To prim the fuel system See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Service and Repair/Fuel System Priming.
1. Using a new O-ring, install the Water in Fuel (WIF) sensor (3) and securely tighten the WIF sensor.
2. Connect the WIF sensor harness connector (2).
3. Start engine and check for leaks.
