Rear Shock Absorber - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the shock absorber (3) in the brackets.
2. Install the bolts through the brackets and the shock. Install the flag nut (1) on the top bolt and nut on lower bolt. Install new fasteners for the
4500 AND 5500 vehicles.
3. Tighten the upper bolt/nuts to 250 N.m (185 ft. lbs.). Tighten the lower bolt/nuts to 136 N.m (100 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
