Disassemble steering column in numbered sequence, noting the following: 

1.

Using snap ring pliers, remove snap ring from steering shaft A, then remove steering shaft A from bottom of steering column A. Steering lock
must be released to remove steering shaft A.

2.

Special bolts are used on the steering lock and plate on steering column B. If these parts are to be removed, a groove must be cut into the head.
