Remove approximately
1/3 of the brake fluid out of the reservoir to prevent overflow when pistons are pushed back into the bore.
1.
With care, push piston back into bore until bottomed.
2.
Install new outboard shoe in recess of caliper. No freeplay should exist between brake shoe flanges and caliper fingers. If up and down movement
of the shoe shows freeplay, shoe must be removed and flanges bent to provide a slight interference fit. Reinstall shoe after modification, if shoe
can not be finger snapped into place, use light "C" clamp pressure.
