Subject model vehicles may exhibit the following driveability condition. After cold starting, engine may idle slow and/or rough.
NOTE:
This service applies only to vehicles with carburetors PN 4227375 and 4227376 built prior to February 5, 1983 (MDH 02-05-XX).

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Reset hot fast idle speed to 1375 rpm on step 3 of fast idle cam. Refer to 1983 Service Manual #81-270-3004, page 14-42, Item #5, for correct
adjustment procedure.
It is suggested that the hot fast idle specification be changed on this page (14-42, Item #5) to the new speed of 1375 rpm for carburetors PN
4227375 and 4227376.
