Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Front Steering Knuckle - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Removal.

3. Remove the outer tie rod end nut.
4. Separate the outer tie rod (2) from the steering knuckle (4) using special tool 9360 (1).
5. Remove the tie rod end shield (3).

6. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter bolts (1) See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Brake Caliper/Service and Repair/Disc

7. Remove the rotor set screw (1) See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Brake Rotor/Disc/Service and Repair/Brake Rotor - Removal
