About the Viper
The Viper was first shown in 1989 as a modern AC Cobra and built from 1991 to 2017. Its V10, designed with help from Lamborghini (then owned by Chrysler), grew from 8.0 litres to 8.3 for 2003 and 8.4 for 2008. Early cars had no driver aids and were famously intimidating.
