Rear

Removal

1. Remove the center cap from the rear wheel.
2. Remove the cotter pin, nut lock and spring washer from the axle yoke.

3. With the weight of the vehicle supported by the tires and the parking brake applied, loosen but do not remove the yoke to hub/bearing mounting nut.
4. Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist. 
5. Remove the wheel and tire.

NOTE:  Replacement of the rear hub/bearing assembly can be done without removing the rear knuckle, axle shaft or brake caliper from the vehicle.
