17. Install a NEW retaining clip on the brake pedal pin.
18. Install throttle cable on accelerator pedal using the following procedure. From inside the vehicle, hold the throttle pedal up and install throttle
cable through rubber grommet in throttle pedal. Install cable retainer on throttle cable with small end facing accelerator pedal. The install cable
retainer into rubber grommet on upper end of accelerator pedal shaft.
19. Open the throttle bodies to the wide open position.
20. Slide the slug on the end of the throttle cable into the throttle cam.
21. Adjust the throttle cable. After installation of the adjustable pedal assembly the throttle cable must be adjusted.
NOTE: When installing the knee blocker panel, correctly position the fuse box behind the knee blocker panel.
22. Install the knee blocker panel on the lower instrument panel. Install and securely tighten the knee blocker panel attaching screws.
23. Install and securely tighten the fuse box mounting screws.
24. Install the adjustable pedal actuator on the knee blocker panel. Install the star washer and nut attaching the pedal actuator to the knee blocker
panel. Tighten the nut to a torque of 10 Nm (96 inch lbs.).
25. Install the knee blocker trim panel on the lower instrument panel.
26. Install the knob on the adjustable pedal actuator.
27. Install fuse box cover on the knee blocker trim panel.
28. Install the ground cable on the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
29. Road test vehicle to be sure the clutch, brakes and accelerator function correctly.
