NOTE: Before proceeding, review all SERVICE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS.
CAUTION: If a wheel mounting stud needs to be replaced in the hub and bearing assembly, DO NOT hammer them out of the hub flange. If a stud is
removed by hammering it out of the bearing flange, damage to the hub and bearing assembly will occur, leading to premature bearing failure. Please
use the following procedure.
REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.
2. Remove front wheel and tire assemblies.
Brake Flex Hose Bracket Mounting
3. Remove the mounting bolt for the hub/bearing used to mount the brake hose bracket to the steering knuckle.
Brake Caliper Mounting Bolts
4. Remove the 2 bolts attaching the brake caliper to the steering knuckle. Remove the brake caliper from the steering knuckle.
