Audible Warning Device Control Module: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove chime module. Refer to Chime Module Removal and Installation.
Chime Module Terminals
2. Ground terminals 2 and 5 of chime module.
3. Connect a test lamp equipped with a number 194 lamp or equivalent, between terminal number 3 of relay and ground.
4. Using a jumper wire, connect one end to a battery voltage supply and other end to terminal 4 of the module.
5. Test lamp should come on and chime should sound for four to eight seconds and then both should go off; if not, replace module.
6. If OK, check wiring for opens, shorts, or poor connections.
