1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Lower steering column as follows:

a. Remove three toe plate nuts and washers.
b. Remove one toe plate screw.
c. Remove four lower steering column cover attaching screws, then the cover. Fuse block is attached to this cover and should be supported when

cover is removed.

d. Spread upper steering column cover out of locking tangs and slide downward.
e. Disconnect shift indicator cable from shift indicator bracket, if equipped.
f.

Remove two nuts and washers attaching steering column bracket to instrument panel steering column support bracket.

g. Lower steering column and allow column to rest on seat. 

3. Remove instrument cluster bezel.
4. Remove heater-A/C control and instrument cluster.
5. Remove headlamp switch and power mirror switch.
6. Remove snow plow control assembly, if equipped.
7. Remove overdrive lockout switch and message center module, if equipped.
8. Remove hood release handle.
9. Remove ashtray housing, glove box assembly and radio.

10. Remove both side cowl trim panels, if equipped.
11. Remove instrument panel center bracket.
12. Remove both side kick panels, then loosen instrument panel pivot bolts.
13. Remove structural brace through glove box opening.

14.

Remove righthand lower reinforcement by removing screws attaching reinforcement to instrument panel and one screw attaching reinforcement to
cowl side trim panel.

15. Remove both outer louver/air outlet assemblies, then both side spot cooler duct mounting screws.
16. Remove instrument panel attaching screws, then roll instrument panel down.
17. Disconnect any remaining instrument panel connectors.
18. Remove instrument panel center brace.
19. Reverse procedure to install.
