If a replacement pickup tube is to be installed, apply a light coating of Permatex No. 2 sealant or equivalent to end of tube. Install pickup tube and
screen using tool No. J-21882.

Before installing pump cover, fill pump with petroleum jelly.
7.
When installing pump cover, torque attaching screws to 70 inch lbs.
