Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Drain cooling system.

2.

Disconnect radiator and heater hoses from water pump.

3.

Remove drive belts.

4.

If equipped, remove fan shroud attaching screws, then remove fan and fan shroud.

5.

Remove water pump attaching bolts, then remove water pump and gasket.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque water pump attaching bolts to 13 ft. lbs.
