Verify stop on lever (B) is against brake shoe at point (C).

This will verify that the brake cables are returning to their normal position.

Install rear brake drums.
12.
Install tire and wheel assemblies.
13.
Pull up on parking brake lever to the second notch or tooth.
14.
Adjust nut on equalizer bracket until both rear wheels are locked.
15.
With parking brake lever still on the second notch, back off nut until both rear wheels turn freely.
16.
Tighten attaching locknut.
17.
Lower vehicle and verify parking brake operation.
