Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove wiper arm and blade assemblies from pivots.
2. Remove front deck garnishes, then pivot lock and attaching nuts.
3. Remove wiper motor as described under "Wiper Motor, Replace.
4. Remove wiper transmission assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Mount wiper arms so that when motor is in park position, distance between wiper blade and bottom of windshield is
1.18 inch on left side and1.37 inch on right side.
