A. Heated Oxygen Sensor <Front>/Heated Oxygen Sensor <Rear> Disconnection.
For non-turbo, the exhaust manifold threads must be cleaned with an 18 mm (0.7 inch) x 1.5 + BE tap after the heated oxygen sensor has been
disconnected.
INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order removal.
Installation Service Point
A. Heated Oxygen Sensor <Front>/Heated Oxygen Sensor <Rear> Connection.
If reusing the original sensor, coat the sensor threads with an antiseize compound such as Loctite 771-64 or equivalent. New sensors have
compound on the threads and do not require an additional coating.
