Aerostar V6-183 3.0L (1986)
To remove the #37 circuit terminal (Diagram 2A) from the 12-way connnector, move the inner terminal retaining arm (Diagram 2B) away from the #37
terminal and pull the terminal and wire assembly from the 12-way connector.
Step 5
Insert the #37 circuit terminal, removed in Step 4, into the rear of the two-way connector found in the in-line fuse kit. Note: insert the #37 circuit terminal
into the right side of the two-way connector (as viewed in Diagram 3). Push the #37 circuit terminal firmly until terminal snaps into place.
Step 6
Install the locking wedge between the two inside retainer arms of the two-way connector as shown in diagram 3. Push firmly until wedge locks into
place.
Step 7
Connect the In-Line Fuse and Wire Assembly (Diagram 4) by joining its two-way connector to the two-way connector in steps 5 & 6. Insure that both
terminals align with each other. Push connectors together until they are snapped into place.
Step 8
Insert the bare male terminal end of the Fuse and Wire Assembly into the rear of the 12-way connector cavity in which the #37 terminal was removed
(see Step 4). Push terminal until it snap-locks into place.
