ALLOWANCES FOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE FRONT BRAKES ON AFFECTED 1986 AND 1987-MODEL AEROSTARS

THIS IS TO ADVISE YOU THAT THE LABOR ALLOWANCE FOR THE BRAKE MODIFICATIONS ON AFFECTED AEROSTARS IN THE
SUBJECT PROGRAM HAVE BEEN REVISED TO 1.6 HRS. CLAIMS
PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED AT THE ORIGINAL LABOR ALLOWANCE (1.3 HRS.) WILL BE MECHANICALLY ADJUSTED TO THE
REVISED LABOR TIME AND CREDITED TO DEALERS ON A FUTURE WARRANTY AND POLICY STATEMENT. DEALERS SHOULD
NOT MAIL-IN APPEALS FOR THE LABOR ALLOWANCE ADJUSTMENT.
THE NEW LABOR ALLOWANCE IS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED PAGE. REMOVE THE EXISTING PAGE IN YOUR DEALER BULLETIN
AND REPLACE WITH THE REVISED PAGE.
ANY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WITH THIS PROGRAM AND SUPPLEMENT SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH YOUR FPSD ZONE
MANAGER.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS
For installation of both the right and left hand front disc brake kits refer to Technical Service Bulletin Article 87-13-20 or Section 2-03, of the 1986 or
1987-Model Aerostar Shop Manual.

Repairs provided under this program will be performed at no charge to owners during the basic vehicle warranty coverage (12-months from the
in-service date or 12,000-miles of operation, whichever comes first) or through March 31, 1989, WHICHEVER PROVIDES THE GREATER
COVERAGE. (Time/mileage limitations are ignored until after March 31, 1989.) Repairs required after these limitations will not be covered under
this program, but will be the owners' responsibility.
