Aerostar V6-183 3.0L (1986)
1. Measure along length of the right front passenger seat belt webbing - 150 mm (6 inches) from lower floor pan attachment. Inspect the belt webbing
on both sides for a distance of 200 mm (8 inches) for any visible signs of damage (i.e. cuts, cut threads on outer edges, or signs of minor wear across
the belt width) See Figure # 1.

DO NOT REPLACE BELTS THAT EXHIBIT MINOR FUZZINESS AND/OR MATERIAL BALLING (NO CUT THREADS) ON OUTER
EDGES. (SEE FIGURE # 3, VIEWS A AND B)
If the belt is cut or worn, replace belt and retractor assembly as outlined in section 01-20 of Aerostar Shop Manual.
