Vacuum Control Motors

Vacuum control motors are used to operate three damper doors: the outside/recirculating air door, the panel/defrost door and the floor/defrost door.
Each of these vacuum control motors responds, in turn, to a function selector switch which is a component of the A/C control. The diagram illustrates
the vacuum circuits and the damper door position under V vacuum, PV partial vacuum, and NV no vacuum condition. The chart, which is part of the
illustration, relates each function knob position to the status of vacuum application at each door.
