Backup Lamp Switch: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The backup lamp switch turns on the backup lights when the transmission is in REVERSE.
OPERATION
The Backup Lamp Switch completes an electrical circuit when the gear selector is in REVERSE and directs voltage to the backup lamps.
