Install a new return spring #E3PE-7C741-AA furnished, attaching it through the Nyliner bushing and to the hole in the throttle solenoid positioner
(TSP) bracket, as on previous models.
8.
Verify freedom of movement of the lever and reinstall the transmission TV rod.
9.
Recheck returnability of the TV lever per steps 4 and 5 of the diagnostic procedure.
10.
Check/reset curb idle speed to the specification on the engine decal. If readjustment required more than a 50 RPM change, recheck the TV rod
adjustment per section 17-20 of the applicable shop manual.
