For low idle speeds and/or stalls in wet weather with temperature of 30~ to 40~F on cold start and driveaway, check idle speeds as outlined in the Shop
Manual and adjust as necessary. Reset the fast idle cam speed to 2350 rpm per procedure on emission decal.
Using a marking pen, modify emission decal to show new fast idle speed.
Obtain an Authorized Modifications decal and list the date, dealer number and summary of alterations performed. Select a prominent place adjacent to
the Vehicle Emission Control Information decal suitable for installing the Authorized Modifications decal. Clean the area, install the decal and cover it
with a clear plastic decal shield.
