Emissions Recall 90E90 - Certain 1987/88/89 - Model California 4.9L engine Equipped F-Series and Bronco Trucks
AFFECTED VEHICLES
All 1987/88/89-Model California F-150/250 and Bronco
trucks equipped with manual transmissions and 4.9L engines having calibration 7-51R-R00.
REASONS FOR RECALL
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has
conducted in-use vehicle emission tests and has determined that the vehicles may be releasing levels of hydrocarbon
exhaust emissions which exceed standards.

DEALER-OWNER
Immediately contact any owner whose name is

not on the list. Give owner a copy of the
Owner Letter.
DISTRICT
Advise district office if:

- an owner cannot be contacted.
- an owner does not make a service date.
FPSD CONTACT
Talk with your FPSD Service Zone Manager about
recall concerns.
REIMBURSEMENT
Submit 1864 claims for all completed vehicles
using the DWE system.

Replace the Electronic Engine Control Processor, Set the Initial Ignition Timing, Mark the Vehicle Emission Control Information Decal and Prepare and
Install an Authorized Modifications Decal.
