ISSUE:
The tailgate power window switch may bind in the "UP" position causing the power window motor to cycle on and off. This may be caused
by the tailgate power window switch finish panel mounting bosses being too short or damaged.
ACTION:
To correct this, install a new design finish panel and tailgate power window switch using the following service procedure.
1.
Remove the headlamp knob, wiper/wash knob and finish panel from instrument panel (snaps out).
2.
Disconnect the connector from the tailgate power window switch and remove switch.
