Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Fig. 10 Blower Motor Replacement

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable (two grounded cables on diesel engines).

2.

If applicable, remove emission control module forward of blower motor.

3.

 Remove air cleaner and solenoid box cover in front of blower motor, if so equipped.

4.

 Remove vacuum reservoir and washer in front of blower motor, if so equipped.
