Remover/Installer, Hose Clamp

1. Location of the engine upper cover retaining clips.

2. 

   CAUTION:Care must be taken when releasing the fourth retaining clip and manoeuvering the engine upper cover past the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the MAP sensor.
   

   NOTE:Only remove and install the engine upper cover in the sequence shown.
   Remove the engine upper cover.

3. Detach the MAP sensor from the valve cover.

4. Remove the fuel pump fuel supply line retaining clips.
   1. Detach the fuel pump fuel supply line from the retaining clips.
   2. Remove the fuel pump fuel supply line retaining clips.

5. Using the special tool, disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hoses from the valve cover.

6. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

7. Remove the valve cover.
   • Discard the valve cover gasket.

1. 

   NOTE:Install a new valve cover gasket.
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
