Contour L4-122 2.0L DOHC VIN 3 SFI (1995)
ACTION:
Reinstall the defroster door actuator linkage and install a new snap ring over the defrost door arm as shown in Figure 1. Refer to the following Service
Procedure for details.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Gain access to the defrost door vacuum actuator as outlined in the appropriate Contour/Mystique Service Manual.
2.
Reconnect the defrost door linkage to the defrost door crank arm.
3.
Install a Snap Ring (97510-S) over the defrost door crank arm nipple as shown in Figure 1. Make sure the snap ring snaps into the same notch the
vacuum motor linkage arm snaps into.
4.
Reinstall all components removed to gain access to the defrost door actuator.
