Engine Mount: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle.
Fig. 3 Lefthand front engine support insulator replacement
2. Remove lefthand front engine support insulator to front subframe bolts.
3. Remove lefthand front engine support insulator through bolt, then insulator.
4. If necessary, remove lefthand front engine support bracket bolts and lefthand front engine support bracket from transaxle case.
INSTALLATION
1. Install lefthand front engine support bracket to transaxle case.
2. Install lefthand front engine support insulator onto front subframe. Torque bolts to 7 ft lb. Observe lefthand front engine support insulator to
ensure perfect front-to-rear alignment, then torque bolts to 75-102 ft lb.
3. Lower vehicle.
