Spark Plug: Service and Repair

1. Remove ignition coil. Remove water pump pulley shield.
2. Disconnect ignition wires from spark plugs.
3. Loosen spark plugs 1/4 turn and use compressed air to remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder heads.
4. Remove spark plugs.
5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check and adjust spark plug gap to 1.3-1.4 mm (0.052-0.056 in). Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 lb

ft).
