Install three-way catalytic converter to flex-pipe or Y-pipe retaining nuts. Tighten nuts to 30-40 N-m (22-30 lb/ft).

Install three-way catalytic converter to muffler inlet retaining nuts. Tighten nuts to 34-46 N-m (26-33 lb/ft).

Connect rear catalyst monitor electrical connector, if equipped.
35.
Lower vehicle.

From engine compartment, perform the following:

Connect right (rear) oxygen sensor electrical connector.

Tighten EGR tube to EGR valve to 35-45 N-m (26-33 lb/ft).

Connect idle air control vacuum hose.
^
Connect idle air control electrical connector.
37.
Connect battery negative cable.
38.
Remove memory saver.
39.
Start vehicle and check and check for exhaust leaks.
Proof of Correction Certificates
Authorized Modifications Labels and California "Emissions Recall - Proof of Correction" Certificates.

Prepare and attach the preprinted Authorized Modifications Label provided in the kit of parts. Write P & A Code and date of repair as shown.

Provide California owners with "Emissions Recall - Proof of Correction" Certificates.
