Remove Exhaust gas recirculation Vacuum Regulator (EVR) solenoid from rear of intake manifold. See Figure 13.

Disconnect # 1 cylinder ignition wire from coil pack.

On new accelerator cable, measure 12-9/16 inches down from bulkhead fitting and mark cable with a piece of tape. See Figure 14. Make sure the
green and yellow bands are flush to the bulkhead fitting before measuring.
15.
Position new accelerator cable in the vehicle.
