ISSUE: 
Beginning January 1997, all CD4E transaxles will contain a revised Pump Assembly which includes a new Pump Support, Pump Body Gasket and
Separator Plate. The new style pump body gasket is serviced separately and identified with a white stripe and part number (Figure 1). This revised pump
assembly will eliminate the "blown" gasket concern published in TSB 96-26-14.

ACTION: 
It replacement of a pump assembly is required, service with the revised Pump Assembly (F7RZ-7A103-AA). If a CD4E transaxle with the revised style
pump assembly requires resealing, service with the Soft Seal and Gasket kit (F7RZ-7153-AA), and the revised Pump Body Gasket (F7RZ-7G331-AA)
identified with a white stripe contained in the gasket kit. It a CD4E transaxle with the previous style pump assembly requires resealing, service with the
Soft Seal and Gasket Kit (F7RZ-7153-AA), a revised Pump Body Separator Plate (F7RZ-7A142-AA), and the revised Pump Body Gasket
(F7RZ-7G331-AA) identified with a white stripe contained in the kit.

CAUTION: 

THE REVISED PUMP BODY GASKET (F7RZ-7G331-AA) MUST BE UTILIZED WITH THE REVISED PUMP BODY SEPARATOR PLATE
(F7RZ-7A142-AA).
