Clutch: Service and Repair

Disassembly

1. Support the assembly of the forward/coast/direct clutch cylinder assembly and reverse clutch drum assembly on a block of wood so that the reverse

clutch hub faces upward. This will ease reverse clutch hub retaining ring removal.

2. Use a pair of snap ring pliers to remove the reverse clutch hub retaining ring.

3. Remove the reverse clutch hub.
