Transmission Mode Indicator - A/T: Description and Operation
Description
The OD OFF lamp alerts the driver to the transmission mode selection.
Operation
The OD OFF indicator illuminates when the transmission control switch sends a signal to the instrument interface module. The instrument interface
module controls the OD OFF indicator, and signals the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) of the driver's selection. The instrument interface module
also dims this lamp for night driving conditions.
