Locate the 10 way connector in Figure 1.
3.
Remove the female terminals from the connector that leads to the suspected sensor.
4.
Carefully mate the female terminals to the proper male terminals.
a.
Rotate the female terminal on the male terminal.
b.
Check for looseness of the terminal connection.
5.
If looseness is observed, replace the terminal with a new 2" pigtail terminal assembly or use one from a scrap harness.
NOTE:
IF THE TERMINAL REPAIR IS MADE FROM A SCRAP HARNESS, REPEAT STEPS 1-5 TO ASSURE A RELIABLE FIX.
