TITLE BRANDED / SALVAGED VEHICLES
Affected title branded and salvaged vehicles are eligible for this Field Service Action. However, the coverage for paint peeling is only extended to
original owners currently in police or law enforcement service.
RELATED DAMAGE
Claims for related damage are not eligible under this Field Service Action.
ADDITIONAL PARTS AND/OR LABOR TIME

Aftermarket equipment or modifications to the vehicle that require additional parts and/or labor to complete the repair, such as lights, sirens or
decals, will require prior approval from the CVPI Approval Team. Requests for additional parts and/or labor after completion of the repair will not
be granted.

Additional labor time (MT) must be claimed as actual time on the same repair line as the paint repair. Do NOT claim as related damage.
^
Any trim that is removed in preparation for refinishing is considered reusable and will not require replacement. If trim such as emblems on the
decklid are damaged during removal they may be replaced and claimed under this Field Service Action.

Any trim that is replaced must be claimed on the same repair line as the paint repair. Do NOT claim as related damage.
OWNER REFUNDS
Dealers are not authorized to process refunds through this program. Owners that feel they are entitled to a refund for a previous paint peeling repair are
directed to call the CVPI Approval Team.
RENTAL VEHICLES
The use of rental vehicles is not authorized for this program.
CLAIMS PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION

All claims require prior approval from the CVPI Approval Team.

Input the 5 position approval code provided by the CVPI Approval Team in the approval code field of the claim.

Enter claims using Direct Warranty Entry (DWE).
^
Additional labor time (MT) should be submitted on the same repair line as the FSA paint repair.

Refer to ACESII manual for claims preparation and submission information.
^
If the vehicle is painted at an outside repair facility, claim the Outside Labor (OSL) per the Warranty and Policy Manual guidelines. The specific
FSA labor operation 09N02F listed in this bulletin must also be used.

When OSL is used, the OSL amount cannot exceed the FSA's published labor operation's amount at the dealer's approved labor rate.

OSL documentation should be kept in the customer's warranty file.
^
To request the paint material allowance enter the word "PAINT" as a base part number and refer to the Labor Allowances table in Attachment II for
the amount to enter in the parts quantity field.
