REMOVAL

1. To remove RH fuel tank support strap and LH fuel tank support strap, push the RH fuel tank support strap and LH fuel tank support strap up into

the bracket until the pin lines up with the large hole. There is a guide and stop inside the bracket to assist in aligning the strap for removal and
installation of the pin.

NOTE: A magnetized screwdriver is helpful to draw the pin out of the large opening in the bracket if the pin does not line up properly.

2. Push the pin out of the large hole in the side of the bracket  by inserting a small drift pin or punch into the small hole in the opposite side of the

bracket.

3. Remove RH fuel tank support strap or LH fuel tank support strap.

INSTALLATION

1. Push the RH fuel tank support strap and LH fuel tank support strap into the bracket opening.

CAUTION: The pin must rest flat against the bottom of the bracket. If the pin is not fully seated, the fuel tank could be damaged. Do not install
the fuel tank. Attempt to position the pin so that it will seat properly. If unsuccessful, remove the pin and RH fuel tank support strap and LH fuel
tank support strap. Check for and remove any obstructions that may be inside the bracket. Check to make sure the pin is the correct length.

2. Insert the pin into the loop in LH fuel tank support strap or RH fuel tank support strap.
3. Pull the LH fuel tank support strap or RH fuel tank support strap down until the pin is full seated on the bottom of the bracket.
