Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair

1.

Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.

2.

Remove grease cap from hub.

3.

Remove disc brake caliper with brake hose attached. Suspend caliper from suspension with wire. Do not allow caliper to hang from brake hose.

4.

Remove brake rotor.

Mounting Hub Removal Tool

Remove hub nut, then remove hub and bearing assembly. If difficulty is encountered in hub removal, use hub removal tool T81P-1104-C or
equivalent.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Use a new hub nut and tighten to 189-254 ft lb.
