To correctly align the doors, adjust the hinges and the door latch striker. Adjusting the hinge affects the positioning of the outside surface of the
door frame. Adjusting the door latch striker affects the alignment of the door relative to the weatherstrip and the door closing characteristics.

If the door will not align correctly, carry out an underbody misalignment check.

Check the rear door hinge adjustment before adjusting the front door hinge.

The door should be adjusted for even and parallel fit with the body opening and surrounding panels.
1. Measure the clearance between the door and the body.
2. Loosen the door latch striker bolts.
3. Remove the front seat safety belt retractor.
