Oil Filter Adapter

Material 

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the oil filter adapter.

4. Drain the engine oil.

Install the drain plug when finished.

5. Remove the oil filter.

6. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

7. NOTE:  On vehicles equipped with an oil cooler adapter, detach the wiring harness from the side of the oil filter adapter. On vehicles with a

standard oil filter adapter, detach the harness pin-type retainer from the oil filter adapter.
