Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
Removal and Installation
NOTE: It is important that all hinge features are fully engaged throughout the reassembly process of the cover to the tray after servicing the air filter
element.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
3. Release the air cleaner lid retaining clips.
4. Lift the air cleaner lid and remove the air cleaner element.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
