Installation

All vehicles

1. CAUTION:  Replacement of the power steering pump pulley is necessary after being removed and installed 2 times.

NOTE:  Make sure that the power steering pump pulley is installed flush with the power steering pump shaft.

Using the special tool, install the pulley to the power steering pump.

2. If equipped, install the deflector shield.

3. CAUTION:  Inspect the power steering belt for proper alignment. If the belt is not properly aligned, damage to the belt may occur.

Rotate the tensioner clockwise and install the accessory drive belt to the power steering pump pulley.

Vehicles with 6.0L engine 

4. Install the engine cooling fan.
