3. Using the special tool, install a new output shaft nut.

Tighten to 200 Nm (148 ft. lbs.)
4. Install the output shaft flange and a new bolt.
^
Tighten to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.)
Vehicles equipped with a transmission-mounted parking brake
5. Install the transmission-mounted parking brake.

Install a new transmission-mounted parking brake gasket.

Keeping the vent in an upward position, install the transmission-mounted parking brake assembly.

Install the transmission-mounted parking retaining bolts.

Tighten to 63 Nm (46 ft. lbs.)
6. Connect the transmission-mounted parking brake linkage.

Compress the spring on the actuating cable and install the cable into the cable housing.
