Removal
CAUTION: Do not pull on the molded lead frame. This may cause damage to the connector ends. Carefully pry up on the locking tabs to
disconnect the solenoids. Disconnect the molded lead frame from the solenoids.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Loosen, but do not remove the transmission fluid pan bolts and allow the fluid to drain. Once the fluid has drained, remove the bolts.
3. Remove the transmission fluid pan and gasket.
4. Pull down evenly and remove the transmission fluid filter and seal.
