Obtain two (2) 18-gauge wires approximately 305 mm (12") in length. Splice, solder and shrink wrap these two (2) jumpers into this circuit. The
shrink wrap should be utilized from the Ford approved Wiring Repair kit in tray Q3 following repair procedure in Box 3 of the Repair Kit
Instruction Guide. Refer to Figures 4 and 5.

Crimp and solder the two (2) ends of the jumper wires together using an eyelet. Refer to Figure 4.
9.
Install the eyelet to ground G200 for the radio and Rear Anti-Lock Brake System (RABS) located at the RH side of the instrument panel cross
vehicle beam (remove any paint where eyelet will be attached). Refer to Figure 2.
10.
Torque the ground bolt to 11-14 N.m (8-10 lb-ft).
11.
Reinstall the air bag diagnostic monitor and connector.
12.
Reinstall the passenger side kick panel.
13.
Verify the repair.
